Day 20

Seemed like a good idea until I discovered the statue doesn't taste good...

Day 19

Why do photo-booths make you look like you've just been arrested whenever you don't smile?...

Day 12

There's something funny to be said here, I just don't know what it is yet...

~No cute statues of a rabbit were harmed in the making of this scene~

Day 7

Taken with the Gameboy Camera, printed with the Gameboy Printer then scanned. I'd love some way of putting the photos from the Gameboy onto the computer, I'm sure there's much more detail in them. Alot of detail is lost through the printer as the image is only about 3x2cm but I think the lack of detail can be interesting.

Day 6

It looks like a good day out there but this is Derry, the skies always grey...

Day 5

Day 1

The Challenge

Some of you may have seen the many "I'm going to do something everyday for x amount of days" challenges online, they're fun, interesting and are a good way to keep the creative juices flowing. I was all set to do a self portrait photo a day for a year challenge when I spotted a little Andy Warhol statue that I have sitting on my desk, the light bulb above my head lit up and I decided that he was to be the subject of my 365 photos.

To keep it a challenge I have set some rules for myself to follow;

  • All effects/filters must be on the camera device used, no Photoshop filters!
  • The only Photoshop editing allowed is to crop the photo into the Polaroid template.
  • All forms of camera are permitted ( Digital, Mobile phone, Film etc )
  •  A few days worth of photos must not be taken on the one day. One photo must be selected out of all shots of the day.
So there it is, everyday for a year I'm going to photograph a Warhol statue. It'll be interesting to see how many photos I can take before they all start looking the same...
